Announcing...

Shelby's baby sister!

Or as Shelby would say it, "My baby did-der."

We actually don't know if it's a "did-der or a bud-der", we'll find out about 6 weeks.

So I guess we can say I've completely forgotten what pregnancy is like. I cry at least once or twice a day. No kidding. Areas of danger include: inspirational blogs, country music of any kind, Disney movies (including Horton Hears a Hoo...really?), Dr. Laura, and FOR SURE every video on the front page of the LDS website. Hello!!

I've also forgotten the awesome smells, the zero energy, the "I could vomit at any second" feeling, the vein-filled legs and MASSIVE ankles...ah my poor legs, I'll see you again in 6 months. And the awful nerve pain is creeping in my back again--please no!! Torture.

But wait, here's the good part: I've spent 2 of the most wonderful years of my life with Shelby. And now--yes even now--I want nothing more than to have it all back in hopes of getting another miracle just like her.

So mother nature--go ahead and hand over those pumpkin sized ankles. I'm ready.

Shelby is in the marvelous process of transforming me. And no, not just the physical body of me....but ME. I think I can proudly say that I am about 10% more patient than I was before Shelby. And for that, I am forever indebted to this amazing role of mommy.

Oh, and NO we don't have any names in mind...we'll try seeing the baby first. It would be nice to not worry about a name change this time. :)
